Jessica Melong

Registered Occupational Therapist

Jessica Melong is a registered Occupational Therapist with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology, Neuroscience, and Behaviour from McMaster University and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto.

Jessica is passionate about helping children and their families build the skills, confidence, and independence needed to participate in meaningful everyday activities. She takes a client-centred, strengths-based approach, recognizing each child’s unique abilities, interests, and goals. She strives to create a supportive and engaging environment where children feel heard, valued, and empowered to learn and grow.

Jessica values collaboration with children and their families to develop individualized strategies that support participation and independence at home, at school, and in the community. She is able to support children in reaching goals related to developing self-regulation strategies, sensory processing, and fine and gross motor skills. She is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-informed care that builds on each child’s strengths and promotes meaningful participation in everyday life.
